Teen Space

Teen Space

Teen Services at the Howe Library encourage and support our community teens.

We provide high quality materials and programming for young adults aged 12-19.

In addition to a growing YA collection comprised of novels, nonfiction, graphic novels, and audio books, our teen space offers comfortable seating, study tables, and board games.

On Display – Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month so we’ve gathered a collection of nonfiction materials on teen mental health as well as fiction and graphic novels dealing with mental health.

We also have resources from NAMI and, while supplies last, mini-selfcare kits which include a positive affirmation, a vinyl sticker, and a calming strip.
