Ciné Salon Film Series: Home Movie Day 6

Special All Day Event: bring your own amateur home movies to screen

Once again, FilmVideoDigital (John Tariot) and Ciné Salon team up to offer local amateur movie-makers an opportunity to screen their obsolescent format 8mm, Super 8mm, and 16mm home movies. This is one of the year's eagerly awaited events where most of the films to be screened have been locked away in closets, attics, and barns unseen for years.

As part of the 6^th Annual International Home Movie Day taking place today at numerous locations around the globe, Hanover's event always entertains with rich surprises. Every year, we have been amazed by ancient views of old Hanover and rural New Hampshire and Vermont as well as surprisingly watchable birthday parties, weddings, vacations, and other family gatherings including many a cute slobbering baby or pet. (No kidding).

We offer technical experts and archivists to inspect your films, prepare them for screening, and actually project your films. Remember this is a fun event that has almost nothing to do with the avant-garde, although every so often an unabashed masterpiece is discovered!
