How do I access my patron record?
From the Main Menu in the online library catalog, KnowHowe:

Select VIEW your circulation record,

Enter your name,

Enter 14 digit barcode (found on your library card).

In your record, you will see what items you have checked out, when the items are due and any fines you might owe.

What is 'My Millennium'? In the online catalog, go to your record as described above. Select 'Search the Catalog', and you will see a note at the top of the catalog page indicating that you are logged-on to the catalog by your name. While searching the catalog, you may now place holds (reserves) for items without typing your name and library card number each time. When you are finished, log-out and your personalized session is completed.

What is the easiest way to renew items? In the online catalog, go to your record as described above. Click on Items Checked Out, then select Renew All or Renew Selected Items. You may renew items that are not overdue.
You may call the library during open hours and staff will renew items for you.

How do I place a reserve (hold) on an item? Reserves (holds) may be placed on items that are not available on the shelves. You may place holds online in the catalog by selecting the 'Request' option when you are viewing the record for the item you want to reserve. You will be asked to type in your name and library barcode number.
(See new option above, to customize your search and avoid typing your name and library card number each time you place a hold.)
When you are in the library, you may ask the staff to assist you in placing holds either online or on paper request slips.
